This battle has always fascinated me although I have never used it as a tabletop scenario. I't got it all: infantry, cavalry, artillery, light infantry/jaegers, militia, and mercenary Germans and all in a playable size where every unit and/or contingent can be represented, and yet the game can, presumably, be finished before the wee hours set it. Come to think of it, I might just have to try this battle myself before long!
ReplyDeleteBest Regards,
Stokes
It is an interesting game. Quality vs quantity. And Cornallis' army is a American Revolution gamers dream army. It has everything!
DeleteWe have fought this battle (but not the entire campaign) three times, always with the same pleasure...Beautiful units Mark!
ReplyDeleteIt is a fun battle to fight out.
DeleteNice to see your beautiful AWI units Mark and its going to be fun watching how the campaign develops. I have only participated in a campaign once - the "Habitants and Highlanders" French and Indian Wars - which I fought with a friend over fifteen years ago. Have always intended to "do" another but we have never got around to it....
ReplyDeleteI have been Looking forward to doing this for a while.
