Is it a by product of this covid 19 thing? My blog is being swamped with spam messages. Most are stupid, some are embarrassing. Because of this I have had to add a comment waiting period to get rid of these pesky intrusions. So, if I am late responding to a comment please excuse me.
now back to our regular scheduled programing.
I actually have found the number of SPAM instances has declined since COVID especially with regards to my GMAIL account.

I think we are all having a dose of it and unfortunately it is actually from a small group of repeat offenders. Under the old blog system you could block a spammer name, but this new version requires the blog owner go in and manually weed. I know there are several bloggers pushing Google via feedback to put some auto tools back in.

DeleteHasnt happened to me at all but I have noticed on several blogs the odd BS one has turned up in comments "This is a really useful and interesting post, I have many important facts to share here...." kind of thing - I just ignore them!
